Youth League Coming May 20th
The league we are starting will be for our Sailboat Bay kids as well as some like-minded sport for social change organizations for kids between the ages of 8 and 12. Additionally, we will be bringing in a few teams from the local community that come from a different background to our kids in an attempt to bring awareness to our mission and bring in future partners to better serve our kids, while also helping to cultivate an appreciation for the unifying power of sport. Our league will provide a special platform for all our diverse participants to learn about competition as well as sportsmanship and ideally bring the needs of our urban refugee community to forefront of the minds of the next generation and lay the foundation for beneficial relationships for years to come.
Games will be played Saturdays starting May 20th at the Sailboat Bay Turf Field and the league will run for 5 weeks with the 6th week being a tournament. Style of play will be 7v7. If you are interested in submitting a team or learning more about it please email Pete Fink at [email protected]
