Charlotte is such a diverse city with people from so many different countries and now these players have the chance to represent their home country without leaving the city. This will be a World Cup style tournament with players representing their home country and competing against other nationalities. This tournament will have two formats: an 11v11 open division and a 7v7 35+ division. There will be flags, music, food trucks and an all-around festival vibe.
HIGH SCHOOL CHALLENGE July 15 |
The High School Challenge will bring together high school soccer players to compete in a short-sided tournament. This will bring a good mix of players that promises to showcase some incredible talent and maybe a future Charlotte FC player or two. This tournament will also feature multiple teams from Street Soccer 658 and other sport for social change programs in Charlotte. Games will be played on the new CLTFC x Ally turf field at Sailboat Bay Apartments.
24 hours of Soccer August 5 |
This is a short-sided soccer tournament that plans on going the distance for 24 straight hours. The 24 hours will be split up into different age groups ranging from 6-50+, allowing anyone to participate and be part of this epic event. The score board will be running a cumulative score for the duration of the event. Players will represent 1 of 2 teams, and when they play in their age group, they will be looking to add to the score. Games will be played at Total Soccer Charlotte
